Asako Miyashita is a New York-based registered dietitian nutritionist originally from Japan. Asako grew up eating food as medicine, and her food approach with people worldwide combines Western and Eastern nutrition. For almost 29 years, Asako has used nutrition to address different health conditions, including diabetes and gestational diabetes, kidney issues, cancer, endocrinological issues, and mental/sleep health. She is also a certified macrobiotic diet instructor in Japan who combines different diets for each person based on their body type. She works with women’s health, including skin care and hormone balancing using Japanese foods and health tips.
