On 17th of May, we partnered with Tammie Tsang, N.C. from MyUMAMI and Vera Coetsee C.H.N, from Restore Integrative Medical Clinic to host a workshop on fermented foods and the benefits they can have on our gut health. The attendees learned how to make their own sauerkraut and kombucha at home, as well as the benefits of adding probiotic and prebiotic foods into their diet.
Fermented foods, which are being embraced by more people, are exploding in popularity. And there is a reason for it; fermented foods are packed with probiotics and eating them can help boost your gut health. The process of fermentation creates probiotic rich foods that are delicious and healthy, and especially important for those struggling with gut issues.
Thank you to everyone for joining us.
